The state-run telecom operator, BSNL, has once again announced a revision to its data plans, which will effective from the 1st November 2015.
As per the latest information, the telcome will be revising its 2G/3G prepaid data STVs bundled with Mobile TV packs. Most importantly, they have reduced the validity of these packs, but added data to its existing pack that is priced at Rs. 103.
Back in September, BSNL made some revisions in Mobile TV usage-based data packs. The latest tariff will be implemented across India from November 1st. BSNL is rapidly changing their data packs, and when other operators are offering various freebies on data packs to counter upcoming 4G threat from bigger rivals. So, these kind of indirect price hike would harm BSNL in the long run.
